Quinn Bovell is a contemporary, self taught textile artist, born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Strongly inspired by hip-hop culture & music, Quinn's greater goal with their artwork is to reinvent the dull, often unimaginative image that comes to mind when we think of "rugs".

Quinn's passion for textile art began in 2020, when they first learned of rug-making. From there, a relentless desire to master the art form bloomed, as they began to teach themself everything they could through books, videos and textile discussion forums.

Today, Quinn is known in the rug making community for their intricate textile work, made possible through the meticulous process of punch needling. Garnering recognition from the likes of Tyler, the Creator & Mark Ryden, Quinn strives to continue to push the boundaries of textile artistry and someday have their artwork featured in an exhibition.
